The Hilltop Restaurant (Formerly Brattle Place)

The Hilltop is a family-run restaurant near the A20 in Stansted, Kent, offering a relaxed, warm, and welcoming atmosphere.
It was originally known as Brattle Place and dates back to the 1800s. The property was originally a farmhouse but has been altered over the years. In the late 20th century, the Hilltop attracted a loyal following as a nightclub and restaurant with rooms; guests have visited from the famous to the infamous and everyone in between!
The venue hosted motorcycle racing legends from Brands Hatch in the 1960s and 70s, making it an ideal base due to its close proximity to the world-famous circuit. Over time, it became a ‘nightspot’, attracting personalities from London and beyond, all leaving their stamp on this country venue. More recently, the restaurant and celebration business has expanded to include personal hospitality services.
